Ink and Water Setting Console

Gain control of your web printing costs immediately by installing our newest Ink and Water Setting Console (IWSC) Operating within object oriented, 32 bit software Windows XP™ Professional using TCP/IP over Ethernet, you get the user-friendly environment you want along with the software compatibilities of IBM PC’s and compatibles.

Ink and Water settings are entered directly or converted from data files of transmitted density information or directly from your existing PAR system.

Our new system provides a Foreman’s terminal and press operator console located in your quiet room. Once the density information has been converted and associated with the pagination data, the injector and spray bar settings are transmitted to the printing units via high speed fiber optic links. When coupled to our digital page packs, the system will begin saving money on the very first press run. The instant bi-directional response of the digital page packs provides fast, accurate local and remote control.

Bypassing mechanically driven injector technology results in elimination of complex, troublesome assemblies and provides a true zero setting when ink is not required. This digital system has been designed for both six and eight column page formats. With reduced web width, the six column alternative has become one of the most effective methods in reduction your conversion costs.
