Installation Services
Whether your site requires an open fountain conversion,
a pump and rail conversion or CGI digital inkers installed as part of a
new press or tower addition, CGI has on staff highly trained,
professional mechanical and electrical installers. The installation
crews at CGI have installed over 1000 couples in the last two years with
projects ranging from add-on towers at the Los Angeles Times; retrofits
at the Florida Sun-Sentinel in addition to add-on towers; retrofits and
Console installation on five press lines at the Portland Oregonian; and
more.
CGI works with other installation companies: Masthead and Press Line
Services, to provide our customer with options for installation and
competitive pricing. The Installation services include: dismantling of
the existing ink system, whether pump and rail or open fountain. The
installation of the power boxes; the needed electrical connections; CGI
inkers, swing frames and distribution heads if needed. The CGI “Q”
rail; if specified; on site startup and commissioning; acceptance
testing, SNAP or IFRA, and on site training.
