The use of 10 column CGI inkers rather then the traditional 8 column is unique and provides
NRCO with better density, precision and accuracy across the web.
The inking, water and make ready will be controlled through the existing CGI consoles presently on-site.
August 2007LA NOUVELLE REPUBLIQUE DU CENTRE-OUEST (NRCO), located in Tours, France has finalized agreements with Controls Group Inc. (CGI) for the installation of 28 couples of MicroDwell™ digital injector inking systems for two press lines on Goss VISA double-width web offset presses. In ddition to the inking systems, CGI will be installing four (4) full control consoles that will control ink pre-set, compensators and water. All control screens and touch screens will be in French and custom designed for NRCO. Conformance testing is scheduled for early September with full installation to begin in October 2007. |
