In addition to the conversion and installation, CGI will be supplying The Winston-Salem Journal with a proprietary ink measuring system called “Ink Metrics.” The CGI Ink Metrics system offers users the unique ability to accurately measure the volume of ink used in a given run. The software has the ability to display the ink consumption by column, pack or couple. The results will be displayed in total pounds and ounces. The odometer like display is easily reset prior to each run to display the results of that production event. “Ink Metrics” is only available from Controls Group Inc. for more information contact CGI.
