CONTROLS GROUP INC. SELECTED BY
SOUTH FLORIDA SUN-SENTINEL FOR COLOR EXPANSION
Rockford, Illinois – 14 March 2006 Controls Group Inc. (CGI)
has announced that the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, as an addition
to its recently announced color expansion project, has selected
CGI for the removal of its existing piston packs and the
installation of CGI’s digital page packs for four of its press
lines. Additionally the Sun-Sentinel will be adding 8 towers from
Man Roland, to further increase their color capacity. The
installation is scheduled for completion in early 2006.

successful test installation, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel has
chosen CGI for its equipment and installation services,” said
Controls Group Inc. Vice President of Sales Darrell Hinson. “This
project adds to the other Tribune Company properties in Los
Angeles and Chicago that are now utilizing the CGI digital inking
system as either a replacement for existing inker systems or as
the inking system specified for the add-on towers supplied by MAN
Roland.”
